Sparebankstiftelsen Nord Norge has been supporting Wild Lab Project’s kelp forest restoration efforts, and outreach actions with local schools in Tromsø.
The first part of the project has now been completed, with the organization of public events and the return of kelp along Sørsjetéen.
Next month, the second part of the project starts where we want to tell young people about kelp forests, explain the challenges they face and at the same time show that it is possible to make a difference.
We will both go out to schools and take students down to the shore to check out life under water.
